At the KAPOW Comic Convention that took place in London from 19-20 May 2012 I released my comic DRYLAND Book One///Chapter One.
At the convention, I sold a regular version of the comic and a custom sketch version, in which the customer could ask for any quick sketch from me of any character they wished. These are some of those sketches (I’ll follow with another post with more sketches and another with me and some whack cosplayers)! :)
If you wish to purchase DRYLAND Book One///Chapter One, please click HERE and find out how to buy it online or at a bookstore near you!
I shared my booth with Steve Silverwood of Upside Comics, a charity that promotes literacy for children and young people via reading and creating comics as well as distributing comics to children and young people! Click HERE to read more about Upside Comics!
University of Brighton Faculty of Arts Graphic Design/Illustration Level 4 Project 8 Art of the Accident Drawing Workshops 01 Feb 2012 - 15 Mar 2012
In order to prepare us for the Art of the Accident project, in which we would undertake the task of redesigning an existing book cover using techniques we developed by accident (or deliberate accidents), the class attended a series of workshops which would enhance our desire for experimentation and accidental outcome.
The book cover project will be featured in a different post, as this post will only involve all the experimentation I undertook before it!
